From the time I accidentally came across the priceless kefir grains almost two and a half years ago, I devoted countless hours experimenting and mastering the fermentation process of milk kefir and coconut milk kefir. With extreme care, patience and creativity, I am able to come up with a variety of superior quality kefir products which are now available in the market at very reasonable prices.
As a conscientious Food Technologist, Enzyme Therapist and Brain Dominance Therapist, my foremost concern is the well-being of my customers. That is why I always see to it that they get all the healthful benefits of taking kefir on a regular basis. And since my personal commitment is to give my patrons the finest products possible, I am continuously working on how to make my kefir’s taste and quality at par with or even better than the most popular kefir brands in the world today.
The fact that Goody products are safe for human consumption is beyond question. The acquired knowledge and work practice from a five-year stint as a Quality Assurance Staff and Production Supervisor of several food manufacturing companies became a rule of discipline to strictly observe and implement HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) systems regulations and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) guidelines.
By simplest definition, Kefir is a refreshing fermented milk with full of healthy bacteria and yeast that reproduce in the colon by creating a healthy and balanced ecology. It is claimed to be a thousand-fold more beneficial and healthier than yogurt. The century old traditional process and combination of premium raw milk, right temperature and real kefir grains is our secret recipe that makes our brand Goody, a premium quality.
During the fermentation process, two by-products are formed – kefir curds and kefir whey. The curds are the tiny grainy solid white substance, cream or foam sticking on the kefir grains usually floating on top of the container and the whey is the clear yellowish liquid found below which referred by others as the “kefir juice”. There are different results of milk kefir depending on types of milk being used, quality of grains, temperature, preparation, packaging and storage system. The kefir thickness consistency may vary from the mixture of the curd and whey. Traditionally, kefir milk should be drinkable with a thin consistency, the balance of curd and whey is an open secret in making a good kefir.
With the kefir grains miracle substance as “probiotic”, and from the available research and study about its whey. It’s beneficial value of antibiotic, proteins, vitamins and beneficial nutrients makes it a great body immune booster. This includes cysteine and methionine amino acids that raise the body’s glutathione levels resulting to an ultimate free radical buster. Studies also show that kefir whey neutralizes most pathogenic bacteria within 24 hours and our unique balance of both curd and whey makes Goody easy to drink!
